Innovation District IT Park – the biggest infrastructure project of Lviv IT industry. Soon it will be able to provide office space for nearly 30 IT companies with about 10 000 employees which will create dozens of new jobs.

IT Park – 10 ha of innovative infrastructure: office buildings, campuses and labs, kindergartens, shopping malls and all other possible facilities for IT professionals.

This project became possible owing to the active people, who united for the development of the IT industry. The creators of the project is the synergy of  Lviv IT Cluster together with N-iX, SoftServe and Global Logic and Lviv Investor and Developer Galereja Centre LLC. Development of infrastructure – is one of the key factors in the development of IT, since it increases the overall living conditions in Lviv and attracts professionals to stay in the city. This is why infrastructure is among the priorities of Lviv IT Cluster.

Innovation District IT Park will be created taking into account not only demands of IT specialist but also needs of surrounding districts.

According to the study conducted by consulting agency DTZ in 35 IT companies, 91% of CEOs feel the need for office expansion and would be ready to relocate to class A offices with better work conditions and access to a range of facilities.

In September 2016 within IT ARENA conference Lviv IT Cluster has announced about the start of implementation of the project Innovation District IT Park in Lviv on the land plot which belongs to the experienced developer in commercial real-estate “Galereja Centre” LLC.
“Galereja Centre” LLC signed Memorandum of Cooperation with Lviv IT Cluster. Taking into account the DTZ report and main demands of Lviv IT specialists the concept planning was ordered at BOSE International Planning&Architecture.
Galereja Centre LTD is a development and equity investor in Forum Lviv, one of the best shopping centres in Eastern and Central Europe. Galereja Centre LTD provides development for such brands as Metro and Auchan, as well as for a variety of petrol stations in Western Ukraine.
Lviv IT Cluster is a community of leading information technology companies, which together with universities and local authorities improve and develop IT in the city. Lviv IT Cluster takes the lead conducting systematic changesin the business environment of the city and the country.

Lviv IT Cluster starts all projects from research

Lviv IT Cluster together with DTZ Ukraine conducted a research aimed to test demand of the project on the market and build the final concept of Innovation District IT Park, which will be acceptable
for the IT community.

Project Timeline
2016

The estimated duration of the project is 8-10 years. It is planned that the negotiations with potential partners will be finished in the beginning of 2017 and construction will begin in the end of 2017 - the beginning of 2018.

2017

All the paper work is completed and shoring wall and foundation construction begins in the last quarter of 2017.

2019

Late 2019 - early 2020 commissioning of office buildings A, B, C, multifunctional centre and kindergarten begins.

2020

The construction of office buildings is completed. Commissioning of the university campus is scheduled for the third quarter of 2020, and the hotel – the last quarter of 2020.

2021

The construction of all the other facilities is being finished and the construction of Tower E begins.
